Stuart Broad becomes 7th man to reach the 500 wickets milestone in the Test Cricket. He took a 10-wicket haul in the recently concluded match against West Indies. This match also marked his entry in the 500 wickets club. He was awarded a Man of the Match award for his 10 wickets. He is the fourth fast bowler to reach this milestone.

He joined the club at a very young age of 34 years and 32 days. The only person who reached this point faster than him was Muttiah Muralitharan. Stuart Broad debuted for England National Team on August 28, 2006. This was a T20 International match against Pakistan. Although his team was defeated in that match, Broad was still successful to take 2 wickets. Younis Khan the Pakistan Legendary batsman was his first wicket in International Cricket.
Not long after his first T20 International, he played his first ODI match on August 30, 2006, against Pakistan. Sadly, the match was washed up by rain.
However, he had to wait for another year to get a test debut. Eventually, on December 9, 2007, he stepped foot in the Test Cricket. The first match he played was against Srilanka in Colombo. He grabbed only one wicket in this match.

He improved so much over the years. He has an average of 27.94, 30.13, and 22.93 in the Test, ODI, and T20 cricket respectively. In the span of his Test career, he was able to take 22 Four-Wickets haul and 18 Five-Wickets hauls.
Although it is mentioned a very few times, Stuart Broad was one heck of a batsman during his career. He was a nightmare for bowlers to take his wicket.
